We are thrilled that you have chosen the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center (SMDCAC) to present your upcoming event. As a rental client you are entitled to a limited amount of resources to help advertise your event. In order to do so we require the following materials. We have created a check list to help guide you through this process. All items listed below should be sent to Marketing and Communication Coordinator, Gisella Rivas-Diaz by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The following items are due (2) two weeks before your event on-sale date:
Your company logo in EPS or JPG format.
2-3 high resolution photographs (300 dpi) in JPEG format.
Press materials (including a description of the show, show prices, and the show name for the website).
The following items are optional:
A designed e-blast in JPG format about your show that we will send to our list FREE of charge. The e-blast should be no larger than 1500X1500 pixels.
Flyers promoting your show for our lobby information table. (This is optional). Please note your flyer materials for the SMDCAC table must promote a show at SMDCAC. Materials that do not reference performances at SMDCAC may go on our community table, but must be arranged and approved in advance. Non SMDCAC materials will be displayed during your show only and not before or after your rental period.
Poster for SMDCAC outdoor showcase. (This is optional). The Center has one showcase available for you to use to promote your show provided that this a performance open to the general public. Poster will be placed up as space becomes available.
These showcases are back- lit through the poster much like a movie poster at a movie theater. They are attached by clip. Do not mount them on foam core.

*We suggest that you print posters on velum rather than paper.
Please note that all marketing materials must list the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center box office information as the method to purchase tickets. Please include the web site: www.smdcac.org, the box office phone number: 786-573-5300 and the location of the box office: 10950 SW 211 Street, Cutler Bay, 33189 in all marketing material.
The South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center and Miami-Dade County logo must also be included in all marketing materials in addition to the American with Disabilities Act blurb and corresponding wheelchair and assistive listening device icons.
It is the policy of Miami-Dade County to comply with all of the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The facility is accessible and assistive listening devices are available in the Main Stage auditorium and the Black Box Theater space.
