Miami, FL (Feb. 7, 2019) The South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center (SMDCAC) presents “Legally Blonde: The Musical,” marking the Broadway national tour’s only stop in South Florida. Performances will take place on Saturday, March 9 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on SMDCAC’s main stage.
Based off the hit blockbuster with Reese Witherspoon, “Legally Blonde: The Musical” made its Broadway debut in 2007. The show opened at the Palace Theatre in New York City, with Laura Bell Bundy starring as the blonde, bright-eyed protagonist. In 2007, it was nominated for seven Tony Awards, including Best Original Score, Best Choreography and Best Performance by an Actress for Bundy.
These performances are appropriate for ages 13 and up. Tickets are $45-90 for regular admission and can be purchased at SMDCAC.org or by calling 786-573-5300. The Center is located at 10950 SW 211 Street, Cutler Bay. All patrons entering the theater require a ticket regardless of age.
