Miami’s youthful, acclaimed new classical dance troupe returns from its New York City debut for an exciting second season at SMDCAC. Their electrifying fall program includes the steamy duet Ardor, by British choreographer and former English National Ballet dancer Jenna Lee, and famed Venezuelan dancemaker Vicente Nebrada’s urgent, ritualistic La Luna y Los Hijos que Tenia, accompanied by live Tambora music – a Dimensions trademark.
Prior to the November 17th performance there will be a FREE “Dance Talk” about the performance moderated by former Miami Herald Dance Critic Jordan Levin and artists associated with the performance at 6:30pm in the Lab Theater. A post show discussion and champagne toast on stage will also take place immediately following the performance in the Main Stage also moderated by Levine but patrons must have a VIP tickets to attend the post show event.
Appropriate for ages 7 and up. All patrons entering the theater require a ticket regardless of age.
