$70 per person for two days of class (2/20 & 2/21)
NOTE: This event has been postponed due to Syndee Winters' recent casting in the upcoming live Jesus Christ Superstar on NBC.  
 
South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center is proud to present professional theater & musical theater master classes with South Miami-Dade’s own Syndee Winters. Syndee has worked professionally as a dancer, singer, actor, writer and choreographer in New York City. Ms. Winters holds several Broadway credits: The Lion King (Nala), Pippin (Leading Player u/s), Motown the Musical (Diana Ross), and Hamilton: An American Musical (The Schulyer Sisters)!
 
Ms. Winters is passionate about nurturing the artistic grown of young artists. These workshops will help young artists explore their craft and give insight to the professional theater world. Focus on vocal care and the proper way to warm up the body for performance will also be covered. Participants will leave energized and better prepared for the audition and performance process.
 
Class title: Middle School Broadway Master Class with Syndee Winters
Who: Middle School students ages 11-13 
When: 6:30pm to 8pm on Tuesday, February 20 & Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center’s Lab Theater
How much: $70 per person for two days of class
Requirements for all participants:  All participants are required to bring two contrasting monologues. Musical theater students/singers must additionally bring sheet music of a song to work on with Ms. Winters for the two day workshop. 
Class starts promptly at 6:30pm. Please be on time in order to obtain the full experience of this workshop series.
