NOTE: This event has been postponed due to Syndee Winters' recent casting in the upcoming live Jesus Christ Superstar on NBC.  

Are you over 18 and ready to begin your career in the performing arts? This one night workshop is for you! Participants will hear Syndee’s experience in the business first hand and leave with a more in-depth understanding of their craft, how to package and market yourself and managing your career.

South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center is proud to present professional theater & musical theater master classes with South Miami-Dade’s own Syndee Winters. Syndee has worked professionally as a dancer, singer, actor, writer and choreographer in New York City. Ms. Winters holds several Broadway credits: The Lion King (Nala), Pippin (Leading Player u/s), Motown the Musical (Diana Ross), and Hamilton: An American Musical (The Schulyer Sisters)!

 

Who: Participants must be 18 years or older and interested in embarking on a career in the entertainment field

When: 7pm to 8:30pm on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center’s Lab Theater

How much: $15 per person

Requirements: Bring your professional performance resume and your headshot. Bring a notebook or tablet for notetaking.

Class starts promptly at 7pm. Please be on time in order to obtain the full experience of this workshop series.
