This questionnaire will help us prepare an accurate estimate for your event. Any information will help - if you cannot provide the necessary information, we must have the name and phone number of someone who can answer questions about technical, crew, and scheduling requirements. Once we receive your information, we will contact you with an estimate within 5-7 business days. Lighting

The lighting system is used to light the performers and to add special effects and color. These lights, while often referred to as “Spots”, are different from follow spots. A follow spot is used to spotlight a performer moving around on stage. The South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center does not have follow spots in the Lab Theater.

Staging / Scenery

The SMDCAC Lab Theater is “dead hung” which means that no scenery can fly away out of site over the stage.

Please note: There is a $150 charge to drill and fill lag holes in the floor
